MT Bungalow supports railway works in the Lyon region with a turnkey labour camp accommodation

As part of the program to modernise high-traffic regional lines,, SNCF Réseau has undertaken a series of priority constructions in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. To effectively support its intervention teams, a temporary labour camp accommodation was rolled out in the heart of the Lyon metropolitan area, in the immediate vicinity of the platforms.The solution implemented by MT Bungalow is based on a set of 6 prefab containers, totalling 72 m², divided between espaces sanitaires, vestiaires, bureaux et moduleDelivered ready to install, these modules were installed in one day, in a dense urban environment and under significant logistical constraints.This project had multiple challenges:
- Minimising installation time to limit on-site interruptions
- Ensuring full compliance with the PMR, RT construction site and electrical safety standards
- Guaranteeing the comfort and autonomy of operators, with hot water, ventilation and integrated furniture
- Adapting the configuration to the technical specificities of the railway terrain

The solution proposed by MT Bungalow:
We proposed a labour camp accommodation of 6 flatpack containers, configured according to the technical requirements of the site:
- 2 changing room/shower/WC modules,with water heater and ventilation
- 2 changing office + meeting, air-conditioned with integrated furniture
- 1 dining room module equipped with a sink, a fridge and storage space
- 1 dining room machine room module, with centralised electrical panel
All the containers were delivered ready to install, connected to the local network with MT Bungalow assistance.
